Today my family will rest. We have had a busy weekend.
During the day on Friday, I had to go to my classroom to clean it for the summer. Put things where they belong and organize. I had a dad take everything out of my closet on Thursday during our celebration. We had about 8 large black trash bags filled with trash. I have been in the same classroom for 3 years so there was lots of items we have never used or have no use for. Wish I took before and after pictures of the closet. The closet looks awesome!
Friday night, I took the girls and met John for dinner at Five Guys. It was delicious. If you have never been to a Five Guys, run and don't look back. John went to work and I took the girls shopping. As most of you might know, Michelle loves to shop. Off to Barnes and Noble to purchase books for her summer AP reading. $80.00 later and that is not all of them. As we were walking around the store, Michelle said she wasn't feeling well and wanted to go home. She loves to shop so that was a surprise for me. Home we went! I stayed up to organize my files on my laptop for next year.
Saturday morning, we decided to host a little gathering at my house for Anna after the skating party that Michelle had planned. Errands to run, house to clean, towels to wash and dry. Chrissy decided that all this excitement was too much and decided to stay home from skating. John and I had a date to go to a local restaurant. Our friend joined us for dinner, but she got sick so the night ended early for us. Around 10, the kids came back to our home and the party began. They left around 11:45. Curfew for under 18 is midnight. It is nice when they can drive themselves.
Today, we will meet someone who has been wanting to meet the girls so they can babysit for her and her children. We have been trying to get in touch with them since Wednesday, hopefully everyone is fine! Michelle is babysitting our neighbors boys and will most likely be here later to let them swim. It is going to be a beautiful day today!

Do you think that Dad might be available to clean out my bonus room closets? Because I am procrastinating big time....like you think I'd do it today while The Bug has another friend over for the afternoon noon - but no. I am catching up on my bloggy reading.
